In this one-time class, learners will use their imaginations to dance the story of Beauty & the Beast. Dancers will learn ballet foundations and play fun dance games based on the story with Belle and friends!
Class experience
In this class, we will tell the story of Beauty & the Beast and learn some ballet dance moves. We will even play a dance game based on the characters from the story. No previous dancing experience is required. Please wear comfortable clothing and have a water bottle nearby during the class. Your child can dress up for the class if they like! Dancers will learn age appropriate ballet fundamentals while using their imaginations to retell the story of Beauty & the Beast. Dancers will improve their balance, flexibility, coordination and musicality.
I have 14 years of experience teaching dance to children in dance studios around the world. I was a member of dance groups in the United States and Egypt. I was the co-president of my university's dance troupe. I hold a dance instructor training certificate from Australia. I am also a certified K-12 educator in the United States.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Please provide a space that has enough space for your child to dance safely. Your dancer should wear comfortable clothing and have a water bottle nearby. Please mention any injuries prior to the class so I can modify the moves as needed. Zoom muting/unmuting: I will mute students during dancing so everyone can hear the music and my voice. Your child can unmute themself to ask questions at the start and end of the class or during water breaks, so please be aware that they may need some help. They will have to accept the “unmute” on their screen. By signing up for this class you understand that dance, like any physical activity, involves some risk and take responsibility for any physical injury which occurs during class.
