Description
Class Experience
In this beginning crochet technique class, we will learn new techniques each week, and learners will have the opportunity to try it out and practice in class. The teacher will carefully model and guide learners, and provide support as needed, as well as provide trouble shooting tips when things are not quite working out as planned. The teacher will post a check in video, midweek, to review and share what we should be practicing and completing. The teacher will also provide short video links...
Learners can practice their new skills outside of class, as well as finish their projects we start in class.
Worsted weight (4) acrylic yarn- 3 skeins of different colors would be wonderful for students to get started Size I (5.5mm) crochet hook would be the minimum to start with, but if you can get a little set I would recommend any between G-L (the learner's technique does affect their stitch size, so having options allows them to adjust for a pattern). small scissors to cut yarn ruler or tape measure scratch paper and pencil
50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Parental Guidance is recommended for the use of scissors.
