Let's Crochet an Easy Boho "V" Scarf!

In this one-time class we will begin a simple shawl using a filet crochet style pattern and adding fringe. This project can be adjusted in size to suit the individual preference of the maker.

Description

Class Experience

Students will improve their understanding of filet crochet and the triangular shape of shawl pattern. The simple repetition of the pattern will also help them improve their speed and technique.
 2 files available upon enrollment
Materials needed for this project are: * 1 skein of worsted/aran weight acrylic yarn (the label may say the number 4 as the weight) * crochet hook in a 5.5 mm to 6.5 mm size * scissors * yarn or darning needle (this is very helpful but not absolutely necessary) * there will be printouts provided with the pattern for future reference but not needed during class
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
35 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Scissors will be used so parental guidance may or may not be necessary. It is left to the parent's discretion.
