During this 7-week multi-day class, we will work together to create a crocheted amigurumi doll.
Class experience
What is amigurumi? It is a Japanese word for crochet animal or doll. It is a very popular form of crochet made by millions. In this class, we will be creating our very own amigurumi doll with some basic clothing. Each week, we will work together to create our doll. I will be using multiple cameras for students to view as we make the project together. We will work side-by-side creating together. 1 file available upon enrollment-Medium weight yarn. 4 different colors of your choosing (skin, hair, blouse, skirt) -4.0 mm crochet hook -Scissors -Embroidery Needle -Stuffing -Stitch Place marker or a piece of different colored yarn ( the marker looks a lot like a plastic safety pin) -Pattern
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students will be working with scissors and embroidery needles. Accommodations can be made upon parental request.
