Class Experience
This class is taught in English.
Polymer Bake Clay Basic Sculpting tools like a toothpick or dotting tool (for eye sockets) A non stick surface to work on (You can cover a piece of cardboard with parchment paper and tape it to the bottom…that works) A paintbrush handle or anything smooth to roll out small pieces of clay. Variety of colors of polymer clay (white, black, orange, brown, white...we can mix lighter brown and grey) Black GLASS seed beads for eyeballs, or you may use black clay. OPTIONAL: Clear water based glaze for after baking Eye pins (to turn into ornaments before baking)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
**Polymer clay requires baking according to the package direction. (Generally ~275 °F/135 °C, depending on your brand of clay). You may do this after class. Parental help is necessary.
