Description
Class Experience
In this class, we will work together to learn the steps needed to create each portion of our adorable miniature Mice. We will give them hearts or flowers or anything you wish them to hold. Different camera views will be used to show each step of the way. We will condition, cut, roll and form our pieces. Polymer Bake Clay (I like to use Sculpey III). *A little clay goes a LONG way in miniature sculpting! You will want to create more after class! Dotting tool (or the end of a small paintbrush for eye sockets) A cutting tool (anything that you are comfortable with using) A non stick surface to work on Variety of colors: Mouse color, Mouse accent color (feet and tail), any other colors you wish for hearts, flowers, etc. Black glass seed beads or black clay for eyes OPTIONAL: Miniature "cookie" cutters for hearts
40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
**Polymer clay requires baking according to the package direction. (Generally ~275 °F/135 °C, depending on your brand of clay). You may do this after class. Parental help is necessary.
