Beginner - Intermediate Level
Are you already skilled in digital art and eager to bring your creations to life with animation? Or maybe you're searching for a vibrant creative community where you can share feedback on your work and others? If so, this class is tailor-made for you! In this exciting 6-part series, you'll master the art of animating a character and their dog as they stroll through a lively city scene. Each session is designed as a step-by-step tutorial, allowing you to ask questions, engage with fellow artists, and collaboratively bring your animations to life. I’ll be encouraging everyone to unleash their creativity and explore their unique style. To get the most out of this course, it's important that you're already familiar with the basic tools. If you need a refresher, check out the "Procreate Dreams Basics" video I’ve created here: www.youtube.com. Please watch it before our first session to ensure you’re ready to dive in!

Learn the basic tools, and sketch out the person
We will be going over the basic tools from Procreate Dreams, and start on the person drawing using via Procreate. 50 mins online live lesson
Lesson 2:
Color & animate the person
We will finish the person drawing (5 frames) 50 mins online live lesson
Lesson 3:
sketch & color a pet
We are going to sketch and color the pet(5 frames) 50 mins online live lesson
Lesson 4:
Design & color the city background
We are going to illustrate a city landscape together 50 mins online live lesson
Other Details
Parental Guidance
The student will use an iPad + Apple Pencil +Procreate & Procreate Dreams app to complete the project, and I highly recommend using a second device, such as a laptop or desktop, to stream the class. Additionally, I suggest students log into Outschool on their iPad so they can easily upload their completed work directly from the iPad at the end of the class.
Pre-Requisites
The student should be proficient with Procreate app.
If not, I strongly recommend students to take procreate basics + intermediate courses from outschool before taking this session.
Supply List
Before joining the course, make sure you have: - An iPad + Apple Pencil - The Procreate and Procreate Dreams apps - Another device (like a computer) to join the Zoom session

My name is Anna and I’m the founder of Oh, Artiz. I’m an art instructor by day and an illustrator by night.
My journey has been a long, but gratifying one. I created Prism Art School back in 2016 with the hopes of fostering a creative community for young artists in Los Angeles. Prism Art School won a variety of different regional, national, and even international art competitions! Some of the accolades and outlets to recognize Prism Art School include: Doodle for Google, International Ocean Awareness, Scholastic Arts, NASA, Toyota, LA Times & DWP, and many other art contests.
However, due to the unfortunate COVID-19 pandemic, we had no choice but to close down our physical locations as per California law.
However, when life gives me lemons, I try to “create” a fun batch of lemonade! Since then, I have been teaching art using ‘Outschool’ which is a digital platform and virtual learning online school based in San Francisco.
It has been such a gratifying experience for me to have personally [albeit virtually] met so many of the very talented, young, artists from all over North America. Some have even been from parts of Europe and Asia! I’ve learned that with a dedicated instructor, virtual learning is not only just possible, but it has the capacity to deliver quality effectiveness in learning -- just as much or better than in person education.
This realization sparked my passion for restoring the progress of the community of Prism Art School. This time, virtually and with a brand-new name: “Oh, Artiz!”
