During this 3 day class, students will learn how to produce a portrait drawing by measuring an accurate grid from a photograph. Students will learn how to construct a scale drawing with pencil by using the art techniques: proportion and scale. They will be able to finish their drawing by outlining their work and coloring their masterpiece with their choice of colors. At the end, the student will display and share their student art and reflect on the artistic process by evaluating their work....
Students will learn how to produce a portrait drawing by using a grid to successfully transfer an image. They will also learn the basics of outlining and color to make their art POP and evaluate and participate in a critique of own and peers artwork.
