This season is puurfect for Valentine Pusheens! Give them hearts or flowers! In this class, we will work together to learn the steps needed to create each portion of our adorable 3-D standing miniature cats. Different camera views will be used to show each step of the way. We will condition, cut, roll and form our pieces. Then we will assemble our body parts. The supplies are listed below to create the miniature Pusheen Cats as shown, for charms or standing figures. Students may personalize their cats with any accessories they would like! Make a whole clowder of cats after class is over! Pusheen the Cat is known to have many looks, so use your creativity to choose a different color if you'd like. This class teaches miniatures, which are perfect to convert into charms. We can create seasonal accessories as well. Please note the supplies I listed are for the shown images: -Polymer Bake Clay (any brand you prefer. I like to use Sculpey III)...For reference, I used Light Grey for body of Pusheen, Dark Grey for stripes (can mix grey with black), Pink for cheeks -Black super fine tip permanent pen (for details)...or black clay -Small Dotting tool for eye sockets -Black GLASS seed beads for eyes (you may use Black clay also) OPTIONAL: Clear Polyurethane or glaze for after baking Eye pins (to turn into charms before baking) **Polymer clay requires baking according to the package direction. (Generally ~275 °F/135 °C, depending on your brand of clay). You may do this after class. Parental help is necessary.

*Ms. Lori (she/her)
B.F.A in Fashion Design
A.A.S in Illustration/Art History
A.A.S in Graphic Design
Hi there! I'm Lori—a Fashion Institute of Technology (F.I.T.) graduate with over 30 years of experience in the design industry. My journey spans from fashion illustration, pattern making, and garment construction to designing full storyboards for buyers. I’ve also tutored aspiring fashion designers in fashion illustration, helping them build professional portfolios for industry interviews.
While my current profession is in graphic design, fashion illustration remains my creative escape from the digital world. I believe that mastering the fundamentals of design unlocks endless possibilities, allowing you to bring your creative visions to life.
When I'm not sketching or designing, you’ll find me spending time with my furry little beasts—because animals are another passion of mine!
Ready to explore the world of fashion design and illustration? Let’s create something amazing together!

*Angel Rivera Diaz (Mr. A)
Master’s degree in Educational Technology
Graduate degree in Special Education
I’ve been in education for over 14 years, with 8 of those years as a special education teacher specializing in working with students who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing, Blind or Visually Impaired, and those with diverse learning needs. I also have a strong background in technology integration and cybersecurity.
In addition to K-12 education, I’ve taught photography, film, video, and animation at Marquette University, where I also ran the Multimedia Technology Lab for over five years. My passion for education and technology led me to earn a Master’s degree in Educational Technology, and I’m currently enrolled in an Information Technology graduate program. I’m also just 8 credits away from completing a graduate degree in Special Education.
My approach to learning is a mix of structure and flexibility—giving students the tools they need while encouraging independence, problem-solving, and self-advocacy. I enjoy incorporating technology, hands-on activities, and real-world applications to make learning meaningful and engaging.
Outside of teaching, I’m passionate about photography and travel, and I have a house full of rescue dogs who take their job as my personal “security team” very seriously. Looking forward to connecting!
