Students will be guided, step-by-step, through the process of creating paper flowers. They will select the colors and how many flowers they want to make. I will give instructions and guidance while creating artwork along with them. I will also provide slides with pictures to lead students through the details. No prior experience with crafting is needed. Learners will be able to interact with me and with each other throughout the class. We will play get to know you games like, "Two Truths and a Tale," "Would You Rather," etc. as we create our masterpieces!

Parental Guidance
Learners will be using scissors in this class, in case parental supervision is needed.
Supply List
Learners will need: -several sheets of colored paper (multiple colors, optional) (I used lightweight paper, similar to copy paper, but any kind of paper should work fine.) -scissors -tape -straws or pencils to use as stems (They can cover them with green paper if they choose.)

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Hi! My name is Susan Singleton. I teach a variety of subjects including math, English, book clubs, and crafts, and I tutor elementary math and English. (I also teach English online to students who speak Chinese.) I have a Bachelor's degree in Special Education and have taught children of all ages in a physical classroom setting as well as online for years. I love teaching, and I strive to make learning fun and enjoyable! I'm patient and always try to make each student feel comfortable and confident in my classroom so they be excited to learn!
In my spare time I like to dance, travel, bake, play games, read, ride bikes, hike, work in my garden, do crafts, and spend time with my husband and our four kids. I look forward to meeting you and your child soon!
