In this class, you will learn how to make doughnut shop for your American Girl dolls. We will craft doughnuts & a box, coffee cups, menu, & a display case. Your doll will be ready to run her own store and make some tasty doughnuts to sell!

Description

Class Experience

Students will be crafting along with me. Students should be able to follow verbal directions, use scissors, & glue. 
I'm a Craftaholic, mom, and American Girl doll fan. My daughter loves American Girl and we have been crafting for her dolls for years together. We love coming up with fun new crafts for dolls!
You will need to gather/purchase the craft supplies listed.
 1 file available upon enrollment
-Digital file templates (printed & cut out) (Digital files are located in the classroom tab, scroll to the bottom to the first welcome message and look for the blue links.) -Cardstock & Regular printer paper to print on -Scissors & exacto knife -Pencil -Glue Stick -Hot Glue Gun & hot glue sticks -Scoring tool (such as a ruler, popsicle stick, toothpick) -Thin craft foam: red -Thick craft foam: white -Air Dry Clay such as Crayola Model Magic in Bisque or Light Tan -Paper plate or craft tray -Cotton balls -Paper towel or cloth to clean hands when needed -Jumbo straw or pen cap (sharpie cap works great) -1/2 tsp. measuring spoon -Elmer's CLEAR glue OR Mod Podge Dimensional Magic -Optional: glitter -Yarn, string, or jute -7.5" x 11" photo box or shoe box WITH lid -Shoe Box Users: scrapbook paper of choice to cover shoe box
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour 10 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
***Please note:  Scissors hot glue gun & an exacto knife will be used for a portion of the craft. Please be sure to assist your student if needed when using the scissors, hot glue, & exacto knife.  Please do the cutting for your learner that involves the exacto knife.  It will be used to cut the photo box/shoe box lid.***
