Ingredients and Supplies: I will post the full recipe and prep list in the classroom so you can print it upon enrollment. Here is a quick overview of the ingredients and supplies so you can see what is needed: Ingredients: • 2-3 slices thick cut bacon, diced • Unsalted butter • Garlic – minced • Crushed red pepper • Salt and pepper • Chicken stock • Cream • White wine vinegar • Parmesan cheese – shredded (please not the grated kind, this doesn’t melt properly) • Fresh baby spinach • Mushrooms (I like cremini, but you can use any kind you like) – sliced • Pappardelle pasta Supplies • Large pot to cook pasta • Large pan to create sauce • Measuring cups/spoons • Spatula/wooden spoon • Colander to drain pasta • Kitchen timer • Knife
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
45 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.
Parental guidance: We will be using two burners on the stovetop as well as other kitchen tools. Parental guidance/supervision is strongly recommended. Please see ingredient list for possible allergens and feel free to reach out to me regarding any substitutions.
