Class Experience
In this 4-week course, students will learn how to make 4 different main entrees. This class will not meet live. In this class, I will provide weekly step-by-step videos of a dinner that can feed a family of 2-4. I will also be providing recipes that can be printed out. Students will be using a number of different cooking tools including stove and oven, measuring cups and spoons, knives, etc. Students will gain a basic knowledge of how to follow a recipe step-by-step. 1 week before class begins or earlier if requested I will provide the groceries that will be needed for the next week's class. Week 1: Lasagna Week 2: Chicken parmesan Week 3: Fettucine Alfredo Week 4: Chicken Enchiladas Student Interaction: I will have students post pictures of the dinners they have made. I will answer any questions the students may have. I will also have a discussion question put up each week in the classroom for the students to talk about amongst themselves. It will be geared toward the food that we just made and the culture it comes from. Students will be expected to participate in the discussion questions.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello! My name is Haley!
I teach art classes such as crochet, knitting, sewing and cooking! I love all kinds of animals and I love learning about different animals! Teaching about animals is extremely fun to me because we get to see how amazing different species are! Finally, I love traveling! I have traveled to over 30 different countries. I have spent at least a month in each of these countries. During my time traveling I have learned about different cultures and what makes each culture unique. Learning about different cultures is so important for students and adults to be able to grow in their understanding of the world!
I have my Bachelor's degree in Social Work and a minor in Intercultural Studies. I also have certifications in TESOL and TEFL, which allows me to specialize in teaching English online to ESL learners. I have been teaching online for 2 years now and I absolutely love it! I have also spent 2 years as an International Teacher/administrator at an ESL school in Africa
I believe that learning should be fun! I like to make my classes fun and relaxing, but also knowledge filled! I believe in more than just memorizing information for a test. I think if a student is going to learn something, they should be able to retain it for a long time! I like to incorporate music, jokes, movement, etc. into my classes.
