Description
Class Experience
Students will learn how to express themselves with their music compositions.
I have composed and arranged music for several different ensembles. I enjoy writing music and hearing new music.
Students will need to work on writing their compositions outside of the class time. Each students writing process is different, but at minimum an hour outside of the class may be required.
Students may use any platform available for writing music (even pencil and paper). But I have included Google Flat as a free music writing resource.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Assessments for this class will be informal, and based on discussions during class.
1 hour 50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
