Welcome! This is a blend of Russian Alphabet and Drawing/Painting class for Young Learners who are either learning Russian alphabet or just starting to learn it! Each week, we will draw one letter of the Russian alphabet and something that starts with that letter. The class will include letters: A - арбуз (watermelon), Ф- фламинго (flamingo), Ц - цыплёнок (little chick), and others. We might skip some letters of the Russian Alphabet due to scheduling. Learners get to pronounce and write letters of Russian alphabet. Learners listen to teacher use Russian words for colors, parts of the animal body, or parts of the items that we will be drawing/painting. Learners get to draw/paint something that begins with the Russian letter of the day. Learners get to share their drawings/paintings with everyone in the class.
Paper A4 or similar Regular pencil and eraser Coloring supplies of your choice: crayons, markers, paint, etc.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
