To practice different parts of speech each week 
To find creative ways to develop a writing voice 
To create an understanding of words and statements through wordplay and stories
They can also practice their fine-motor development by drawing and coloring the pictures & letter formation

I try to incorporate mindfulness and creativity into all of my classes.  My teaching philosophy is that all students are individuals and unique learners that must have a stimulating educational environment where they can grow physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially. I desire to create this type of atmosphere where students can meet their full potential. I will provide a safe environment where students are invited to share their ideas and where mistakes are considered education victories.

I combine my skills as a reading specialist, an English tutor, an ESL instructor, and small class teaching with my love of the classics, and mindfulness to create a fun and engaging class for your child.
