Class Experience

This class is taught in English.
Students will get the opportunity to share in a topic they enjoy, discuss specifics of the game with other fans, play a BINGO game inspired by The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild ("LINK"), and share their self-created fan art (if desired).
I am an avid fan of this game and have played through twice, including completing the DLC pack, Champions' Ballad - unlocking the Master Cycle Zero Motorcycle. I've shared in my love of the game with my older students since the release in 2017, and find the game an adventurous, yet somehow relaxing, escape from the daily grind, or just for some exciting fun.

I'm also certified in Early Childhood-8th grade teaching, ESL, Special Education (K-12), Dyslexia, and Gifted Learner Education.
No homework necessary.
Students will need to print out a LINK (BINGO) card and bring any fan art, if they choose to share.
Interaction will be encouraged and participation opportunities available. (Students can "pass" at any time if they don't want to share on a particular question, or if they don't have art work.)
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
We will discuss and share contents of the game, art work pertaining to the game, which may include game-specific weapons, shields, and creatures, but keeping all content appropriate and respectful, as well as our discussion.
