Let's Chat About Characters

If your child loves characters from movies, tv, anime or video games, or if they enjoy creating or sketching their own, unique characters, then they will love our class "Let's Chat About Characters".  In this weekly class, students will share about the different characters they know and love.  Each week your child will "bring" a character to the classroom to share with their friends. They will be practicing their social skills by presenting this character and sharing information about the character (such as who the character is, why they love the character, what the character likes to do, their personality, strengths and weaknesses etc).  Learners in the classroom will be prompted to ask questions of their classmates about the character they are sharing.  This class works on social skills by allowing students to practice their conversational skills, staying on topic, turn taking and listening skills.
