What's included

40 mins in-class hoursClass Experience
This lively, interactive class will surely provide some information your child doesn't know. We will begin by discussing the history of our United States flag. We will learn about the symbolism of the colors on the flag, how to care for the flag, how to display it, and much more. The children will learn new facts about the flag through a PowerPoint presentation, including fun facts that aren't typically learned in a traditional classroom. The class is interactive and engaging. The discussion will be followed by making a craft of the United States flag to celebrate the 4th of July, our country's Independence Day. Please be sure to look at the supply list.

Teacher expertise and credentials
I have taught elementary school for 33 years. This lesson and craft has always been a fan-favorite of my students. I teach them lesser known facts about our flag to keep it interesting. The craft will most certainly make it to the top of your list of keepsakes made by your child.
