Let's celebrate National Nachos Day by making nachos with homemade cheese sauce and guacamole!
In this one-time cooking class, students will get to celebrate National Nachos Day on November 6th by making their own nachos with homemade cheese sauce and guacamole! We'll begin class with a brief introduction and overview abut National Nachos Day. From there, students will learn how to make a delicious, homemade cheese sauce from just a few simple ingredients. We'll also make fresh guacamole to top our cheesy nachos. Students are welcome to add a variety of other ingredients and toppings...
Students will learn how to make nachos with a homemade cheese sauce and guacamole. They will also learn a little more about National Nacho Day in the United States.
An detailed ingredients and supply list will be sent to parents and students the week before class begins.
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Parental or adult guidance may be needed for younger or less experienced students. We will be using a hot stove top to cook the cheese sauce and a sharp knife to chop ingredients.
