Let’s Celebrate! Fun Halloween Stories and Sweets
In this one time class learners will have a chance to wear their Halloween costume, hear a story, complete a 2d Halloween art project, and (with the help of their grown up) share, show, and enjoy their favorite sweet or treat.

Learners are encouraged to dress in their Halloween costume attire for a virtual Halloween party! Session will begin with introductions of learners, their costumes and their favorite treats. We will discuss halloween while beginning a glow in the dark pumpkin puffy paint craft (can be 2D or 3D) diy puffy paint recipe will be shared in the classroom. While the artists are working, Miss Rachel will read a halloween party story from prepared materials. We will then play halloween themed games...
This fun social activity allows learners to enjoy Halloween fun safely from the comfort of their homes.
Learners are encouraged to attend in their Halloween costume. NOTE: please choose a non-scary/non-gory costume for this session. Some learners may be more impressionable and sensitive than others and we want to keep the experience fun and light hearted for all learners.
Learners favorite Halloween treats Costume Beads or markers for bingo pieces Printed bingo board (bingo board will be sent the day before the session) Glow in the dark puffy paints (diy recipe and specific materials needed will be shared in the classroom) Paint brushes Cups to hold paint Water for clean up 2D project option: Black paper or cardstock 3D project option pumpkin (craft/fake pumpkin suggested, but a real pumpkin would be ok. We won’t be carving the pumpkin)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
