Let's Build Our Vocabulary Bootcamp: PSAT/SAT (Course IX)

Students will improve their understanding of various English words in context.

Annie Edwards has for nearly four decades been a teacher, administrator, and mentor in an independent school setting. She grew up in Maine. Most recently, Annie served as the Director of University Guidance at Beijing City International School in Beijing, China. Prior to that post, Annie resided in upstate New York in the U.S where she served as the Associate Director of College Guidance, Academic Director and Advisor of the Community Service Program. She also taught French, English and psychology.  Annie holds a bachelor's degree from St. Lawrence University, a master's degree from Middlebury College, and a Certificate in College Counseling from UCLA.

N/A- Students will likely be motivated to continue learning the meanings and usages of more English words.

Learner progress is assessed by the student's increased knowledge and comfort level in the material discussed. There will be time at the end of each class for a question and answer session.

40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
