This course is a 2-day bootcamp that will examine the meaning, synonym, and antonym of words used in context. Take this following my Let's Build Our Vocabulary Bootcamp: PSAT/SAT Course I, Course II, Course III or take it as a newcomer. This is the fourth course in a series. All are welcome. This is a new set of words. Students will practice using words in their own sentences after learning new words or solidifying the meanings of words they do recognize. My teaching style is engaging and participatory. I strive to create a classroom environment that has a serious and comfortable sense of purpose. Learners do not need any previous experience or knowledge. I will introduce words and then encourage each student to take calculated risks. We will practice the vocabulary words together by taking turns, so that everyone has the opportunity to participate in telling a collaborative story. Students will share the newly acquired vocabulary words in their own fun, creative, innovative sentences. The stories are always original and usually a bit zany.
