Lets Build a Zoo!

In this 4-week course, we will learn all about 7 different animals- American Alligators, Bengal Tigers, Reticulated Giraffes, Plains Zebras, Polar Bears, Pygmy Hippopotamus, and the African Elephant. We will use the workbook printable provided for each animal that we learn all about. This course is discussion led while the information is shown in a power point, through videos, and with pictures. Students will be tasked with drawing the perfect zoo habitat for each animal with a provided checklist. During the last class of this course, we will get to plan out our very own zoo with the animals that we have learned all about!

-Week 1: 
             Day 1: We will learn all about the American Alligator! At the end of the class, we will use the workbook to draw the American Alligator Zoo Habitat based on what we have learned and use the checklist to make sure their care is perfect! 
             Day 2: We will learn all about the Bengal Tiger! Our ending activity will be the same as listed above: we will be using the 
              workbook
-Week 2: 
             Day 1: We will learn all about the Reticulated Giraffe! Our ending activity is the same as listed above: we will be using the 
              workbook. 
             Day 2: We will learn all about the Plains Zebra! Our ending activity is the same as listed above: we will be using the 
             workbook.
-Week 3: 
             Day 1: We will learn all about Polar Bears! Our ending activity is the same as listed above: we will be using the workbook. 
             Day 2: We will learn all about the Pygmy Hippopotamus! Our ending activity is the same as listed above: we will be using 
             the workbook. 
-Week 4: 
             Day 1: We will learn all about the African Elephant! Our ending activity is the same as listed above: we will be using the 
             workbook. 
             Day 2: This will be the last class in this course where we wrap everything up and our zoo can finally come together! We 
             will plan out and draw a map of our zoo. We also have to create a feeding schedule for all of our animals that have to eat 
             twice a day, students will use strategic thinking to map out their zoo's schedule.
