In this one time class, learners will be walked through the basics of game mechanics in the game of Minecraft. We will start with a few minutes for introductions, and any student with an online profile (Gamertag) will be admitted into my hosted realm. [Please note: an online profile (Gamertag) with online play enabled is required to join the realm, but not required for this class- any students without a profile (Gamertag) will still be able to play independently on their own device in their own world] Then we will walk through the basics of controls on the various devices. We will explore the inventory tools, and the mechanics for building and breaking blocks. I will answer questions, and guide learners through the basic steps of building a house, and crafting the basic set of tools. Learners will need to own a copy of Minecraft Bedrock edition and have it installed on at least one of the following devices : Windows 10 PC, Ipad, Iphone, Android tablet, Android phone, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PS4 This class is NOT compatible with Java Edition This class is NOT a Mojang Product *Image on listing is a screenshot of my own work in my own Minecraft world*

Parental Guidance
Minecraft is a dynamic game, with a multitude of spontaneously generated "mobs", some of which can cause damage to the Player characters. We will be playing in creative mode, but there is the possibility that some of the work we will do may cause your learners character to be damaged, potentially to the point of temporary death before re-spawning. Please be aware that this is an aspect of gameplay in Minecraft. Thank you for your consideration on this matter.
