Let's Breathe: Mindfulness and Me Flex Course - Series 2 B2+ CEFR
What's included
Class Experience
In this flex course, learners will practise mindfulness. Mindfulness means paying full attention to something. It means slowing down to really notice what you're doing. Being mindful is the opposite of rushing or multitasking. When you're mindful, you're taking your time. You're focusing in a relaxed, easy way. Mindfulness happens naturally sometimes, but it's also great to make space to practise it too. What are some of the benefits of mindfulness? Being mindful helps you: 🔹pay attention better 🔹be less distractible 🔹learn more 🔹stay calm under stress 🔹avoid getting too upset about things 🔹slow down instead of rush 🔹listen better to others 🔹be more patient 🔹get along better 🔹feel happier and enjoy things more How will the class be structured? What will be the theme each week? Week One: Grounding Week Two: Awakening Week Three: Growth Week Four: Reclaiming Week Five: Reconnecting Week Six: Collaboration All materials will be posted by the end of Monday (UK time) each week. Each week, a variety of activities will be shared including the teaching video which will explain the theme of the week as well as guidance to the activities and tasks for learners to work complete. Some tasks will require learners to work independently, others will require learners to work collaboratively. This is a flex course, so these classes have a specific start and end date and lots of student-teacher and student-student interaction. The interaction is focused on asynchronous messaging using the Outschool classroom, games and activities, discussion and in-depth analysis, and occasionally video chats that are arranged on a custom basis. This course includes a range of: 🔹Pre-recorded lessons 🔹Announcements 🔹Assignments and deadlines 🔹Additional learning materials This course is taught by Teacher Sam. We look forward to being part of your learning journey!
