In this subscription-based course, students will study and practice the phonics sounds more in depth.

In this ongoing course, phonics will be the base. Letters often have more than one sound. This course will focus on those sounds and blends so they do not get lost in the learning of the alphabet. Week 1: Long and Short A and Long and Short E Week 2: Long and Short I and Long and Short O Week 3: Long and Short U and the Letter Y Week 4: Let's Mix them up and practice! Week 5: Let's try some BLENDS! Week 6: Repeat Week 1 Week 7: Repeat Week 2 Week 8: Repeat Week 3 Week 9: Repeat Week 4 Week 10: Repeat Week 5 Each week a focus will be on two letters. The first class of the week will be all the first letter and the second class of the week will be the second letter. In Week 4, there will be a review of all of the letters. The class is 20-minutes long so it is not tiring for the students. Pictures and videos will be used to focus on the sounds to make a real-world connection for them. I try very hard to be upbeat and entertaining so the students will stay engaged and focused. I love the interaction!

The students will be confident in the Long and Short sounds of our vowels.
