Students will be taught using a powerpoint presentation that allows me to draw on the screen to show how to solve story problems step by step. The class will work on solving story problems as well as working on/reviewing double-digit addition and subtractions and single- digit multiplication and division. Students will improve their ability to solve story problems by reading the problem, underlining the given information, determining what needs to be calculated and lastly solving the problem.
