This one time class will have Valentine's Day theme as we read 2 books, discuss the books and then do a creative activity about kindness with a Valentine's Day theme. #superstar
Class experience
We will share 2 books in class, one about Valentine's Day, and one about being kind. We will discuss how we can be kind, and what the true meaning of Valentine's Day is. After the discussion, students will make a special creation to share with someone they feel could use some kindness. They have the option of making more than one. Information will be posted in the classroom for needed supplies, but they will be commonly used supplies. I like to have students feel comfortable in class and...
Students will learn about kindness and make something to share with someone.
I am a retired school counselor/teacher with over 30 years experience.
I will send any handouts through the classroom and a list of needed supplies, but all will be readily available.
If students need help with the craft, such as cutting or gluing, please have someone available to help. It will not be complicated.
