Share what you create!Class Experience
This class must have a minimum of 4 students to run or it will be canceled. Let your friends know. Even those not on Outschool may love to join the free platform to cook or bake, and having friends who bake or cook with you can be so fun!! Cookies, peanut butter cup bars, even cupids crunch-let's create/bake a delicious treat in 45 minutes! I love to create/bake! Come share my baking day with me and let's create a delicious treat/dessert together! Each section listed will bake a different treat. They are listed in this description by the date they are taught. If the time slot fits your schedule-YAY-we have a baking date! I have a laid back approach to teaching when it comes to cooking and baking. I repeat each step to allow for all levels of bakers to follow. Options for the remainder of 2023 May is mothers day in the US Thursday the 28th-The best soft chocolate chip cookies! You can make either vanilla and chocolate cookies! (What mom doesn't like something made from her kiddos!!) June is Summer and for some, school ends til the fall Thursday the 29th-Muddy Buddys made 2 different ways. A treat made with a cereal base. (A favorite sharing treat when we went on picnics, camping, etc. with our children) July is warm weather and fun summer activities Thursday the 13th-Rustic Apple pie (No pie pan needed! And for this pie we'll use a store bought crust.) August is vacation/family time Thursday the 17th-My family favorite peanut butter cookies. (The recipe makes enough to share with friends. Both peanut butter and peanut butter M&M's are used for a yummy treat!) September is back to school Friday the 22nd-Toffee squares-a bar cookie (a back to school family favorite of our kids and grandkids!) October is the change of seasons (Fall) and Halloween Date TBA-Caramel Apple Cupcakes (one of my favorite to make. I LOVE the caramel frosting!) November is a month of Thanks Date TBA-Sour cream frosted sugar cookies with fall sprinkles (Delicious sugar cookies without the long process of cut out cookies) December is already the end of another year and Christmas Date TBA ** Please note-It's not the norm to refund each time a student misses a class as they are able to watch the class video later when they are home from a camp or vacation (I have many students who do the classes on their vacation!), or when they are feeling better if they get sick, and still receive most of the benefits of the class. I send them the ingredient list the week before, the recipe the morning of the class for their records, and then the class is recorded at the listed time. With that said there are sometimes extenuating circumstances inwhich you have no control! If you are in need of a refund in these cases please message me so we can talk! For live meetings, I wait for 10 minutes in the classroom. If students do not show, a recording will be provided but no refund.**

Teacher expertise and credentials
I have been baking, creating, and reinventing recipes in the kitchen for more than 40 years. I've always had a love for creating delicious food that brings families and friends together. Being creative, thinking outside the box, learning new combinations of ingredients to try in a recipe makes baking that much more exciting! I want my students to learn to love creating as I do!
