In this online session, learners will be encountered to exercises and problems of different topics that they will be seeing in assessment tests such as SAT and ACT. They will be learning strategies and methods to tackle these problems.

Class Experience

The students will be encountered to problems in the following topics:
* Finding the measure of missing angles in different figures
* Similar Triangles problems
* Pythagorean Theorem Problems
* Factorization
* Equations and Inequalities
* System of Equation
* Expressions 
* Percentage

In this online session,  students will be encountering and reviewing  the above topics through solving problems and exercises that is written in the format of assessment tests. This session  prepare  learners to  the style of questions used in these standardized tests and help them  be comfortable and full of confidence while they are performing such testing. 
I will use the Outschool platform and flashcards to help students understand and refresh all the concepts which are mentioned above by using the same format of these assessment tests. At the beginning of the session, I am going to go over the concepts related to each part and how students are going to use them. Then , we will solve exercises and problems related to each topic by showing the learners examples and strategies to be used. The teaching experience which I have in this subject will help me guide students to avoid doing the common mistakes that were done by many students who went through the same situations in the past. Students will be engaged by giving them opportunities to try exercises individually or in groups. Solutions can be answered on the spot by using the chat button. I will facilitate solving problems and exercises by showing the learners techniques and strategies that can be used in tests in the future. Practicing  is the way to master the learners’ skills. It will be optional to the learners whether to provide them with extra exercises or not.
This class is going to be inspiring, challenging, motivating, and encouraging to the students because learning will be through positive and fun atmosphere.

Learning Goals

This session will assist students to be ready to assessment Tests such as SAT. Students will master solving problems and exercises related to the above topics such as  factoring polynomials , congruent and similar triangles, Expressions , Equations and Inequalities, System of Equations, Percentage and the pythagorean theorem. All these topics are essential for the learners who want to achieve high scores in assessment tests such as SAT. This class will help students to take steps required to complete the tasks and objectives in confident, proficient and habitual manner.

I have over twenty-five years of experience in the field of Education. I have a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics; I have a current Michigan Teaching Certificate (6-12). I have been successful at accommodating diverse students’ needs by using different methods of teaching, and I am able to facilitate a highly interactive class atmosphere. I was trained and practiced how to assist students virtually by using Distance Learning/On-Line Resources.  I taught many fields in Mathematics such as Arithmetic, Pre-Algebra, Algebra1, Algebra2, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and Statistics by using different techniques and strategies in order to assist my students be successful in the next levels. I believe that the most important aspect to teaching math is to communicate the beauty and the simplicity of this subject and how it is related to our real life. I believe that every student has the potential to understand and succeed in Math. I love teaching and Math is my passion. I am married, and I have three amazing daughters and two wonderful grand-kids. My hobbies are reading, listening to music, gardening,  baking, and traveling.
I believe that Mathematics is fun and I want my students  to have fun while they are engaged in  a positive atmosphere sessions.
