Do you love musical theater and want to take your performing to the next level? In this one-time class, students will learn and practice Musical Theater techniques that will make them memorable and powerful performers.
Class experience
In this class, students will learn and practice various Musical Theater singing techniques that will make them more memorable and powerful performers. The student will have the opportunity to perform a musical theater song of their choosing. Depending on the learner's song choice and personal performance goals, I will coach them on specifics like healthy belting, acting-through-song, vocal style choices, and additional repertoire options. Depending on the learner's song choice and personal performance goals, I will coach them on specifics like healthy belting, acting-through-song, vocal style choices, and additional repertoire options. Students will leave the class with a better understanding of how their unique voice works.
Be sure to have one (1) song prepared that you know well and love to sing. Have a backing track ready on a different device to sing along to (you can find these on youtube). For example, if you are joining the meeting on a computer, use your phone to play the backing track.
