In this discussion-based class, we will be doing an overview of the life of Leonardo da Vinci, his art, and the inventions in his notebooks, also known as the Codexes. Students will learn more about how Da Vinci's work influences art, engineering, and science today.  We also discuss Da Vinci's usage of depth perception and perspective throughout his art. Students will be encouraged to give observations about Da Vinci's art and work, and interact with each other. At the end of class, we will do a fun activity that helps students better appreciate Da Vinci and his work. Students do not need to have any prior knowledge of Leonardo Da Vinci to take this class.
