Class Experience
In this discussion-based class, we will be doing an overview of the life of Leonardo da Vinci, his art, and the inventions in his notebooks, also known as the Codexes. Students will learn more about how Da Vinci's work influences art, engineering, and science today. We also discuss Da Vinci's usage of depth perception and perspective throughout his art. Students will be encouraged to give observations about Da Vinci's art and work, and interact with each other. At the end of class, we will...
I received my master's in liberal studies where I took some classes on art history. I also taught a humanities classes, and devoted classes to Da Vinci and his work.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
