Class Experience

This class is designed to immerse the learner in Spanish in a task-focused environment. Learners will almost certainly learn a few new Spanish words, enjoy listening to the story, and have making the craft. This class could be used to expand the vocabulary of a current Spanish language student or be used to introduce a student to the Spanish language for the first time.
RaShae Smith is a Texas certified educator in Spanish, art, and EC-6 with a bachelor's degree from Lubbock Christian University. She taught Spanish to young children at her in home preschool Libelula Spanish School for 5 years before moving to the online platform of Outschool. As a non-native speaker, she demonstrates to all of her students that Spanish classes work and anyone can learn a second language! She is raising her own 3 children to be bilingual and hopes they love Spanish as much as she does.
None, but it may be necessary for a learner to complete his or her craft outside of class time due to the time restraints of the class. If that is the case, posting the final result of his or her craft onto Outschool is encouraged!
Learners will need the following supplies to complete their craft: Camión de Bomberos Color Sheet colorful construction paper or "scrap" paper (red, orange, and yellow to be the flames) crayons, markers, or colored pencils scissors glue stick pencil eraser
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Scissors and glue are required to complete certain crafts. Parent supervision recommended.
Sobre Ruedas- ¡Al Rescate! is an Usborne book. Students do NOT need a copy to attend the class.
