Class Experience

Let's build and listen to an awesome lego story about fighting fires!  Learners will bring their legos to class and listen to an exciting lego story while completing a lego building challenge that relates to the story.  Mrs. Justis will give everyone 3 challenges.  Each learner can choose whichever challenge they want to build and then, GO!!!!  During the build time, Mrs. Justis will creatively tell the story, ask questions, and talk with the students about what they are building, asking both...

Students will learn critical thinking skills as they complete a lego challenge!  They will develop listening skills and comprehension skills as they listen to the story and answer questions.  They will develop social skills as they interact with the teacher and other learners. Students will learn about Fire Safety. They will also develop public speaking skills as they share their creations with one another.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
