Class Experience
Let's build and listen to awesome lego stories! Learners will bring their legos to class and listen to an exciting lego story while completing a lego building challenge that relates to the story. Mrs. Justis will give everyone 3 challenges. Each learner can choose whichever challenge they want to build and then, GO!!!! During the build time, Mrs. Justis will tell the story, ask questions, and talk with the students about what they are building, asking both comprehension and critical...
Students will learn critical thinking skills as they complete a lego challenge! They will develop listening skills and comprehension skills as they listen to the story and answer questions. They will develop social skills as they interact with the teacher and other learners. They will also develop public speaking skills as they share their creations with one another.
I have a MA in Christian Education, a BA in Elementary Education and also an AA degree. I have over 25 years teaching experience, 3 years online teaching, and am currently the Media Specialist (combining library and STEM activities) at a local private school.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
