Class Experience
Does your child love building with Legos? Are vehicles one of his/her favorite? If so, this is the perfect class as we will engage with building and sharing about modes of transportation. Each week, we'll start off learning some fun facts about that particular area (the sky/space, land, and ocean) It will be a great way to have your child interact with others as we share various facts and information about land, water, and the sky. Student interaction is key to help develop not only oral...
As an experience classroom teacher in 2nd and 3rd grade and work as an elementary school librarian, I always try to find ways to connect learning with fun! I also love to find ways to incorporate books with whatever I do! Your child will pick up some great facts about trains, space, and the ocean along the way while building amazing transportation Legos! During this course, I will draw from my experience in the classroom and library to create a fun and interactive way to engage your child with building Legos. We will work on skills like taking turns, sharing, and treating others with respect as we build together each week.
No homework assigned.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
