What to expect: Through building different projects, students will learn how real-world engineers develop ideas and how they can improve the efficiency of their ideas through size, balance and architectural design. Beginning of class: We’ll start each class by talking about what our building challenge will be for the day and I will share pictures to help give everyone ideas and inspiration for our build so we can develop a project plan. During class: As we’re building our project, we’ll talk about different ideas we have and how those ideas apply to real-life. We'll also chat about which building techniques we are using and why we chose those specific techniques. Each learner will get to share their special project. After we are done building and sharing, we will play a fun game! (All worksheets will be provided to print before class) Day 1: Build a Maze & Maze Worksheet Challenge Day 2: Build a House/Castle/Treehouse & Build a Character to live in it (worksheet will be provided) Day 3: Build a Car/Boat/Aircraft & Play Bingo!
