Description
Class Experience
Students will gain experience discussing a topic (i.e., their LEGO Star Wars creations), answering questions about it, engaging with other students, sharing their Star Wars knowledge, and responding to a writing prompt.
Besides loving all things Star Wars, I have an MA in English and have led (and participated in) many book, writing, and art discussions. I am comfortable teaching both children and teens and am sensitive to learners who love to participate as well as to those who prefer to primarily listen to discussions. I excel at keeping children engaged and providing a mix of activities to foster a fun educational experience.
There's no homework, but students should come to class with LEGO Star Wars projects to share with their classmates.
Students should come to class with at least one LEGO Star Wars creation, a pencil, and paper. Also, this class works best when students can participate in a quiet setting (i.e, with minimal background noise and distractions.)
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
