Description
Class Experience
Students will come to class prepared with a LEGO build for each class. During class, each student will present their LEGO build to friends. Students will be encouraged to ask questions and discuss their builds. PLEASE BE AWARE: There will not be time in class to build. Students should have their builds completed before class. Class time will be focused on discussion with friends. Students can bring a LEGO build of their own choosing. If the class desires, I will provide theme ideas...
Students will gain confidence speaking with others. Students will practice listening and conversation skills.
Students will need LEGO and any other material the student wishes to include in their builds.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students will prepare their LEGO builds before each class. This is important for students to have the maximum time for interaction and discussion during class. It may be helpful for students to also practice presenting their builds before class.
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Students will create their LEGO builds before each class. There will be no time to build in class. Class time will be focused on presenting and discussing their builds.
