Lego Masters Jr With Weekly Themes

This weekly ongoing class will be a junior version of the wildly popular TV show, Lego Masters. Each week I will present a new secret theme. The students will then have 20 minutes to make their own creation, followed by individual sharing.

Class Experience

Students will think outside of the box, concentrate for a sustained time, and be creative. They will learn time management skills and public speaking as they share their builds.
I have been offering a very similar class as a one time experience. It has been very successful and a lot of fun. I have been building with lego since my own childhood.
Students should have Legos or a similar style building material.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Presentation of their final build. Students who are shy, may opt not to verbally share but instead share a picture to the classroom.
40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
younger students may need assistance with fine or gross motor skills
