40 mins in-class hours per weekAssessment
Presentation of their final build. Students who are shy, may opt not to verbally share but instead share a picture to the classroom.Class Experience
Students will be given an inspirational theme or word to guide their own brick creation. The teacher will spend about five minutes discussing the theme and giving some building tips. Students will then be given 20 minutes to build. Students can ask questions during the build and seek guidance as needed. After 20 minutes, each student will present their creation and tell how it is connected to the theme. Clubs can be canceled at any time by clicking "unsubscribe". If you have a 5 year old, please consider my Brick Masters Wee version for ages 3-5. Younger students will be withdrawn unless it is a sibling. *** Please note, this is not a class that teaches brick design and specific techniques. It follows a similar format as the popular brick building show which is more organic brick building.
Learning Goals
Students will think outside of the box, concentrate for a sustained time, and be creative. They will learn time management skills and public speaking as they share their builds.
