This is a fun, fast paced, Lego competition that is ranked number one online. We spin a wheel for our topic, students build to a timeclock like the show, and then we vote on winners. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place all win something me! #builder

Class Experience

BEFORE ENROLLING - Please read through all of the information. :)

Please also make sure your student knows how to work the zoom or be close-by to help. The class moves fast and they will need to know how to mute and unmute and then turn their camera around if they have a tablet. This class moves a bit fast so knowing those things is vital.

WHAT YOU WIN
1st place: $10 off ANY class of mine.
2nd place: $5 off ANY class of mine.
3rd place: $3 off ANY class of mine.

How the Class Runs
Students will get to build their own creations in this class for most of the class to a timer and some EPIC music. I will have a wheel of random items and themes that can be built in the Lego world and at the start of class, I will explain the rules and then spin the wheel to reveal our building topic. Then, students will face off against their classmates and one will be crowned the winner, and others will place as well. The fellow students will vote on the winner of each Lego creation through the chat feature which will only come to me. All Legos, or similar are permitted. Please have things ready before class.

Rules:
1. Students must each build their own build (siblings cannot build together - they must build their own build). But siblings or parents can help find pieces and take things apart.
2. Students will have 28-30 minutes to build depending on class size and when we get started. Please have your Legos ready and organized because the class does move fast.
3. Voting is done through chat to help confidentiality. Each student gets two votes for their favorites.
4. Please show up on time. We begin building about 5 to 10 minutes into class to give full time. You will not be admitted if you are more than 15 minutes late.
5. If you miss class, and have not cleared it with me ahead of time, you will not be rolled to a new class. That is a spot someone could have filled. This is out of respect for me and my time.
6. I-pads and phones are very hard to show builds on, please try and get them in on a laptop or computer if possible or please be prepared to help them show builds if using a tablet or phone. We move very fast in this class and they have a short time to explain their build. I want them to have their full time and not have technical difficulties. :)

The goal of this class is to get the students interacting with each other, building, and growing their creativity. Other than STEM, there is not an educational portion to this class. I am not teaching them anything related to Lego, but they will learn skills for critical thinking and how to present something to the class and I do not interrupt them much while they build. This is a fun class that the students can truly feel like Lego masters. All they need is a creative mind, a love for Legos, and a good collection of Legos. Come join the fun!
Learning Goals
Students will leave class having had a fun experience in building Lego's. I want to grow their creativity and ability to take a situation and adapt to it. They will now know what they are creating until the class begins so they have to be adaptable. This is a fun class.

I love Lego and have taught a few classes on this. I think anything that is STEM and growing creativity is what students need right now.
