In the Lego design challenge, students will learn the engineering process of the world around us. They will apply the engineering process/steps to create a mystery challenge given in class. After students create their vision of the challenge, students will share their model and reflect on their experience. Students will improve their knowledge of the engineering process and will apply this knowledge to creating a mystery structure, using a variety of Lego pieces.
Students should bring their favorite Lego creation and a variety of Lego pieces to use during the challenge.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
