Welcome to Lego Deserted Island Challenge! In this fun, hands-on class, kids find themselves stranded on a deserted island and must use their creativity and problem-solving skills to overcome various challenges. Everyday, we'll tackle a new challenge. With just 10 minutes on the clock, participants will brainstorm and construct their unique LEGO solutions to these imaginative challenges. Our challenges encourage quick thinking and innovation to problem solve. After the building session, participants will have the opportunity to present their creation to the group, explaining their thought process and how their solution addresses the challenge. This not only boosts their public speaking skills but also fosters a sense of community and teamwork. Join us for an adventure that combines fun, creativity, and friendship in a supportive and engaging environment!
Learning Goals
Learners will develop creative problem-solving skills by designing imaginative LEGO solutions to survival-themed challenges.Learners will strengthen critical thinking and time management by building under a timed (yet very friendly and supportive) constraint.

SOS Shelter
We'll build a shelter to protect us from the elements on our deserted island. 25 mins online live lesson
Lesson 2:
Coconut Collector
Coconuts serve so many purposes, but boy oh boy... they are hard to get down from a tall palm tree. We'll devise an easier solution. 25 mins online live lesson
Lesson 3:
Animal Translator
In a somewhat silly twist, we'll create a device that allows us to communicate with animals. 25 mins online live lesson
Lesson 4:
Hurricane Shelter
Oh no! A hurricane is brewing. We'll need a shelter with supplies. Let's get to work. 25 mins online live lesson
