Feel free to drop in and start during any week! Please send me a message if it is after Week 1, and I can help get you enrolled in our class. :) Do your kids love getting creative with LEGOS? My children do too and they are the inspiration for my class! Thanks to my children, we have a large collection of Legos and I will be building right along with your child. We will get creative with our Legos while we talk about our interests, our day, and our creations! I also will throw in fun tidbits about the history of Legos, video clips, and more. *Please note that we will be off the 1st week of July. Week 1: Introductions, Color you own Lego character, show us your Legos! Week 2: Let's build our best creations while learning a little history about Legos! Week 3: We're going to learn about what a LEGO Master is and look at some of their creations. We will also be building something of our own choice while learning! Week 4: We are exploring around the Lego website today while we build! This is always a favorite with the kids. Week 5: Free day of building while we talk about each other's creations. Week 6: Share your creations! Do you have something you've been working on for a while? Create something prior to class and bring it to show off! If not, no worries, we will build while we talk today too. The classroom floor will be open for discussions to flow naturally. Offering this class in 6 week blocks, really allows the children to develop friendships within the classroom by seeing the same people each week. I offer a relaxed, no stress classroom environment. Great socialization class to get kiddos talking while having fun. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me. Hello, my name is Nicole. I have been in the education field for 24 years. I enjoy teaching children of all ages. Helping children build speaking and listening skills brings me so much joy! I have been an English tutor for 7 years and have a love for all things Language Arts! I have a degree in Social Sciences, I'm TESOL certified, a First Aid and CPR instructor, and a homeschooling momma too!
My teaching style is patient, friendly, and supportive. In my classroom, we will learn skills on how to engage with others while speaking and listening. I want your child to be successful just as much as you do! I aim to have a fun and educational classroom! One that your child will look forward to attending each time!
A fun fact about me is that.....I’m a dance mom! My youngest daughter is on a competition team, so that means a lot of fun weekends. We travel locally and she competes in hip-hop, lyrical, and ballet!
