1 hour per week. Homework: Each week there will be optional homework. This will be explain verbally to the students and posted on Outschool to the parents so that everyone knows what work should be completed. Students can put in as little or as much time as they choose. Their characters will benefit from their efforts. I encourage the students to send me their homework electronically but that is not required. They can do all their homework written on paper and either send me a picture OR just don't send it in at all. Either way is good.Class Experience
This is an Unofficial adventure written by Melissa and Cameron Robb and based on the sourcebook from Druidawn® 1.0. The Finder is lurking on a vast continent with many hidden secrets and areas of interest. Not every continent has a HUGE desert, vast mountain range and enticing woodlands! Characters will venture throughout this part of Druidawn® through many adventures with endless challenges. Druidawn® uses cooperative fantasy role playing (dragons, elves, quick-sand OH MY!) to stimulate the imaginations of the players and becomes an excellent source of ideas. It is based entirely in Druidawn®, a fantasy world where the adventures take place. Druidawn® motivates children to write creatively. Players will participate in a verbally interactive story-adventure that requires imaginative, cooperative problem-solving in order to overcome obstacles. The teacher will guide the players through various adventures with the help of maps, dice, and character sheets. Think cooperative Dungeon and Dragons but with a creative writing element. Druidawn® classes are always sure to be fun, interesting, and a little crazy! This is for students that have already completed the Druidawn® beginner's class. If your child has not done that please register for one of those sessions before registering for this adventure. This will be an on-going class where the students move from adventure to adventure as one ends and the next begins. Week 1: The adventure begins! Week 2 : New peril and puzzles await! Parental Guidance
Be aware that Druidawn adventures do have various undead and enemies attacking the knights. As in all Druidawn® adventures there is always a peaceful option that the knights may choose but quite frequently they choose a chaotic resolution. Battling, blood, weapons, killing are usually part of a chaotic resolution.
Natural disasters may be part of this class as well.
Characters and pets may be in peril throughout the stories.

The learner must have completed the beginner class (Legends of Druidawn® 1.0: Beginners)

Supply List
You will need 1 20-sided die and 2 6-sided dice during each class. You will need your character sheets from the character you created in the beginner Druidawn® class.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

I first experienced Druidawn® as a participant alongside my son. We quickly became enamored with the adventures and with leveling up our beloved characters. Soon I was having fun teaching Druidawn® myself, leading classes through mythical and magical lands. I have been been using Legends of Druidawn® to encourage students to write for many years. Words are currency in Druidawn®. Kids don't HAVE to write, they will WANT to write!
