Description

Class Experience

Miss Sara is a Mexican American who is passionate about Latina/o/x representation. She has a Master's Degree in Education and in her spare time, volunteers for Latina Voice - a nonprofit that empowers Latinas.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
No live meetings, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
In our exploration of these legendary Latinas, some issues/topics may come up that some families are uncomfortable or unfamiliar with. Possible topics may include discrimination, inequality, LGBTQ+, police brutality, poverty, racism, and "machismo"/sexism.
