Description
Class Experience
Georgia Standard: S2L1 During this 45- minute session, we will meet three times (Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday), to learn about the lifecycle of a chicken! We will navigate through the lifecycle from the beginning, when an egg is first laid, to the adult chicken. We will be learning about this through hands-on activities, pictures, crafts, and readings. BUT WAIT, our session will also have a real chick, that we together as a class will name. You don’t want to miss out on all the fun...
Students will be able to communicate the information about the life cycle of a chicken.
There will be fun homework given that will be optional.
Print-outs (provided) (1) Large Egg Paints, Crayons, Watercolors, Marker (pick 1) (1) Paper Plate (1 sheet) red AND yellow construction paper Glue
Students will be given a quiz on the third day of class.
2 hours 15 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
