Class Experience
Welcome! This ongoing, Science course is perfect for learners who enjoy engaging, hands on lessons. Along with creating with our hands, this class will focus on anatomy and how our body works. We will create and learn with clay/play-doh! In this ongoing class, learners will be introduced to different parts of the body. Students will build specific parts (anatomy focus) with play-doh/clay. This class will meet bi-weekly. Every other week, we will cover the topic listed for that week below...
-anatomy -human body -sharing, interaction, public speaking opportunity -fine motor skills
K-6 Licensed Teacher and Certified Reading Specialist
-5-7 colors of play doh -pencil, paper, mat -printables/resources: these will be posted on the classroom page for access
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
The following safe, Outschool approved third party tools will be used: Google Slides, Nearpod, and Padlet. Please review these prior to enrolling in the course.
