In this course students will be taught how to conduct research for projects. This class is considered a college preparatory class where students will learn to find sources that are seen as acceptable in a college atmosphere. Topics that will be covered are: Proper search engines to conduct research, proper acronyms for searching items, and proper research questions to ask before starting the project. The main goal of this lesson is to get students to become proficient researchers. This will be achieved through class activities mentioned in the class experience.
I currently hold a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Physical Education. Outside of this I am currently a Doctoral student in Educational Research.
No homework will be assigned since this is a one time course.
Learner supplies will need access to the internet so that learners can navigate the web to search for sources.
45 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.
Google Scholar and Pubmed will be the basis of where our research will take place.
